Summer 2007 in France & London

This is the view from the balcony of our house in the south of France, where we stayed for the first three weeks of our trip.

We could walk to this beach from our house.  Jacques and Kenny are playing "beach boule".

My family joined us during our second week at the house.  We're resting at a cafe next to the local outdoor market.

This picture was taken at my mom's birthday dinner.  Of course, you can't see the beautiful restaurant (or my mom), but we actually looked good, so I had to include it.

Sarah (my niece) enjoying her ice cream on a bench with Nana and Papa (just thought the photo was funny).

One more picture of the three of us at a restaurant.  This was our last night in the south of France.  The restaurant was on the beach (the same beach next to our house).

Kenny and I are picking wildflowers along the country road next to Jacques's aunt and uncle's house (about 3 hours from Paris).

Sitting by the Seine River, about 40 minutes  south of Paris, as we wait for Jean-Jacques (Jacques's cousin) to join us for dinner.

We only spent one day in Paris.  Kenny took the obligatory Eiffel Tower photo.

Kenny got lucky in London.  At the Cavalry Museum next to the Royal Guard's stables, a curator let Kenny try on the actual Guard's uniform.
